Construction work is required between the Oderbrücke train station (BODK) and the German-Polish border. As a result, the Oderbrücke-Rzepin border crossing will not be available from December 3rd, 2023, 6:00 a.m. to December 13th, 2023, 6:00 a.m.
The restrictions in the availability of the infrastructure are necessary to exchange sleepers on route 6155 between Frankfurt (O) Oderbrücke (BODK) and Frankfurt (O) Grenze (BXF) and thus ensure the future availability of the route.
The required total closure of the border operating route is planned from December 3rd, 2023 at 6:00 a.m. to December 13th, 2023 at 6:00 a.m. All journeys to and from Oderbrücke (BODK) both from and towards Rzepin, as well as from and towards Frankfurt (Oder) Pbf (BFP) are affected.
The cramped conditions on site, due among other things to the bridge construction, require the construction technology to permanently use the neighboring tracks to set up construction equipment and work trains for loading and unloading building materials. This makes it necessary to carry out the construction work in the form of a total closure.
For route orders to and from Poland, we recommend routing via the Horka, Guben or Forst border crossings.
