Customer information for PaPs on new corridor sections

The RFCs will transition into the newly defined European Transport Corridors (ETC)

We hereby kindly inform you that as of 1st of January 2026 the Rail Freight Corridor’s (RFC’s) geographical routing will change because of the new TEN-T regulation EU 2024/1679 amending EU 913/2010. The RFCs will transition into the newly defined European Transport Corridors (ETC). From initially 11 RFCs, the structure will revolve around 9 ETCs in future.

Please note that these changes also affect the Pre-arranged Path (PaP) offer of each corridor. We therefore invite you to familiarize yourselves with the new routing of each corridor to express your needs for TT2027 via the capacity wish list survey. The updated routing of each corridor can be found on the TENtec website of the European Commission and in the Implementation Plans of the corridors that will be published 6 months before the launch of the new corridors. Wishes that run only partially on a corridor route or over several different corridor routes are also taken into account.

When accessing the TENtec website, please filter for the respective corridor in the menu “European Transport Corridors” on the left side of the page. It is then of utmost importance that you tick the box at “Railways (Freight)” to view the new routing:
