Restrictions on the cross-border section Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke - Frankfurt (Oder) Grenze until 13.04.2025
Due to the tense operating situation in the feeder line and at the Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke border station, there is only limited capacity until 13.04.2025 in connection with construction works. DB InfraGO AG requests that restrictions and recommendations be observed for traffic via the Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke - Frankfurt (Oder) border section (route no. 6155) until 13.04.2025.
In the period from 24.03.2025 to 13.04.2025, the following construction works will take place on the cross-border section Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke - Frankfurt (Oder) Grenze:
The following closures will be in place from 24.03.2025 to 04.04.2025, 21:00:
• Tracks 5, 6, 7, 8 at Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke station
• Main track from Kunowice to Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke
A total closure will apply from 04.04.2025, 21:00 to 07.04.2025, 04:00
The following closures will be in place from 07.04.2025 04:00 to 13.04.2025, 21:00:
• Tracks 1, 2, 3, 4 at Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke station
• Mainline track from Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke to Kunowice
Slow speed section from 13.04.2025, 21:00 until 14.04.2025, 13:00
Due to the limited track capacity, operational delays are to be expected for services with planned locomotive changes. Considerable waiting times must be expected for planned locomotive and personnel changes between two or more trains.
For the period until the end of the restriction, only very limited path capacities are available in ad-hoc timetable.
Due to the current very tense operating situation, the duration of scheduled stops at Oderbrücke station must be reduced to a minimum.
Furthermore, DB InfraGO AG requests that the following measures be taken into account when placing new path requests for ad-hoc timetable until the construction work is completed in order to relieve the strain on Frankfurt (Oder) Oderbrücke station:
1. the locomotive change at Oderbrücke station is not possible
2. border traffic via Frankfurt-Oderbrücke must be operated with multi-system locomotives or V-traction
Alternatively, the following routes can be selected, taking existing construction works into account:
1. for electric traction from/to Guben, further Guben border V-traction (staffing is ensured continuously until 07.04.2025)
2. for E-/V-traction via Horka (staffing 24/7)
3. for V-traction via Küstrin-Kietz (staffing 24/7)
DB InfraGO AG requests orders for rerouting paths via the ad-hoc timetable.
DB InfraGO AG also requests that the RFC dispatcher BZ Leipzig be informed of detours via Horka and that the scheduling operating programs for the Horka border be sent to lpz.bz-rfc@deutschebahn.com.
